Along the way, they’ll learn how to identify their target customer, design clear and effective signs, create eye-catching window displays, and lay out a floor plan that makes sense for shoppers. They’ll also choose a highlight product, write vivid descriptions, and even create advertisements for their grand opening.

Once planning is complete, students bring their vision to life with final project pages:

• Storefront outline to decorate and display

• Floor plan square with counters, displays, and traffic flow

• Counter display page with themed wall design

Take the project further with two optional sales catalogs: The Book of Monsters and The Book of Costumes. Students name, describe, and decorate each item, turning their store into a complete fall marketplace!
