A writing about pets adventure story.
Students love to write about animals, and most especially about their pets. Let them create their next great adventure story with their best friend.
This is an Animal Adventure Writing activity that you and your students will love.
 
This ready-to-go product has everything you need to get your students writing, with support throughout the writing process.
 
Lesson plans include ideas to front-load vocabulary and story ideas and planning pages so that reluctant writers immediately feel successful before they begin writing, because they already have a hefty word and idea list.
This writing about pets adventure prompt easily fits within the writing workshop model. With an included writing process checklist, the student is guided through each writing process step, from the pre-writing/brainstorming sessions to publishing a finished piece.
 
A scoring rubric is included for the teacher if needed.
 
Also included are a Pet Adventure cover sheet, a Dedication page, an About the Author page, a Comments Page, and a blank writing page with room for text and drawings. Teachers can add to their Writer’s Center so students can publish their themed pieces and create a picture book.
